The following items summarize the new features and enhancements in the OpenUtilities Substation CONNECT Edition Update 11 release.

• Add ability to maintain Device/Wire Link/Wire Numbers/Terminal Numbers and exclude Title Block/Page Format objects for Merge Into Master.
  Users are able to choose the following options when Merging into the master file from a reference file:

  • Display "Paste Options" dialog to select options for Device, Wire Links, Wire Numbers, and terminal numbers.
  • Exclude all information related to Page Format and Title Block during merge.

  

• Open Appropriate Substation editing dialog when user double checks on a Tag or uses Edit Tag.

  When user double clicks on text belonging to Substation Symbol or selects text associated to Substation Symbol using Edit Tags function, the proper Substation editing dialog appears instead of the MicroStation Edit Tags Dialog.

• Add ability to allow user to select a specific SubID of Device to link with.

  User is able to select a specific SubID of Device to link with when clicking the No button of duplicate Device ID in Engineering Design Consideration dialog.

  

• Support the repeating placement in different directions.
  User is able to place repeating objects in different directions.

  • From left point to right point or form right point to left position in the horizontal direction.
  • From up point to down point or from down point to up point in the vertical direction.
• Add ability to select specific data fields and field order to show in Part Number Grouping dialog.

  User is able to choose which data fields will be visible and set field order in Part Number grouping dialog.

  

• Add Database Version dialog to display both DB Schema Version and DB Sub Version.

  User is able to check which DB version the build is using and which DB version the current DB is.
